Annual Veterans Day commemoration is this week

Join the Jewish Historical Society of Greater MetroWest at its annual Veterans Day program honoring the community’s service members for “Now and Then: A Conversation with Sydney Levit.” Mr. Levit, a 98-year-old Purple Heart recipient, will tell his story. He served in the U.S. Army 17th Airborne Division during World War II – the largest airborne invasion in military history — fighting in the Battle of the Bulge and in Operation Varsity. The program is on Monday, November 14, at 7 p.m., with a Zoom option.
