Bernice Levy

Bernice Levy, 90, of West Orange died Nov. 10, 2011. Born in Newark, she resided in West Orange for over 60 years.

Mrs. Levy worked as a dietitian at Christ Hospital, Jersey City, before retiring many years ago.

She was a member of Hadassah and Women’s American ORT. She served on the board of trustees of the Parents Association of the Hunterdon Developmental Center, Clinton, and was a chief fund raiser. She also did some radio work on the Ida Bailey Allen radio show on WMCA, New York City.

Predeceased by her husband, I. Arthur, and a son, Robert M., she is survived by her son Jared C. of Suffern, NY.

Services were held Nov. 11 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
