CBL Fine Art
CBL FINE ART, long considered one of New Jersey’s finest gift galleries and Judaica stores, has a huge selection of artisan-crafted items from around the world, with particular emphasis on American- and Israeli-made goods.
Owner Connie Lior started the business 34 years ago following a trip to Israel, during which she purchased and began selling hand-tufted tapestries from Kibbutz Pelech. She opened her first store in Maplewood, followed by the past 28 years in West Orange. Husband Uzi Lior left accounting and joined forces with Connie nearly 20 years ago, and the team includes Dori Sobin, gallery manager, who has been with CBL for 28 years.
CBL FINE ART has been voted Best Gift Shop in North Jersey by New Jersey Monthly, Best Gift Shop in Essex County by Suburban Essex Magazine, and winner in three separate categories, Best Gift Shop, Best Home Accessories, and Best Judaica, by readers of the New Jersey Jewish News.
The gallery offers a cross-section of beautiful merchandise in a variety of price ranges and styles — items include original graphic art, blown glass, colorful ceramics, Judaica, hand-crafted jewelry, art-to-wear clothing, and custom framing.
Their extensive website, cblfineart.com, offers a wide selection of items to choose from and in-store staff can help online shoppers. Curbside pick-up and shipping is available.
Hours are Monday to Friday, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. and Sundays, 11a.m.- 5 p.m. Parking is available in the lot on Eagle Rock Avenue.
