Congregation B’nai Israel’s Cultural Programming Committee will continue its Sunday seminar series, “Varieties of Jewish Experience,”
led by professors Andrew Meyer and Jane Denny.

Meyer, Chinese and Japanese history professor at Brooklyn College,
will speak about the Karaites today; he will discuss the Jews of Kaifeng (followed by a film and dim-sum lunch) on Nov. 17.

Denny, adjunct Jewish studies professor at Stockton University, will speak about Latin American Jewry on Nov. 3. Seminars start at 11 a.m. Coffee and bagels will be served.
