Filmmaker tribute

Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County, Freehold, will conclude its film screening tribute to writer, producer, and director Aviva Kempner today with “The Life and Times of Hank Greenberg” at 2 p.m. (inclement weather date March 15).

This film is sponsored in part by Gary Matoren, in memory of his daughter, Debbie Lynn Matoren, in honor of the museum and the Jewish community in Monmouth County.

“The Life and Times of Hank Greenberg” is a 1999 American, 95-minute feature length documentary about America’s first Jewish baseball star.
