Genealogical research

“Using JRI-Poland and the Polish Archives for Genealogical Research” will be presented by Dr. Elana Broch, Ph.D., at a meeting of the Genealogy Club of Central Jersey on Thursday, Jan. 24, at 7 p.m. at Congregation Ahavas Achim, Highland Park.
Broch, Assistant Population Research Librarian at Princeton University, is an amateur genealogist who has spent much of her research efforts trying to find out about her grandfather, Saul Lichtman, a 1941 “euthanasia” victim; JRI refers to Jewish Records Indexing-Poland.
