Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Greater Mercer County is accepting 11th- and 12th-graders (as of the 2018-19 school year) to participate in Gesher LeKesher, a Jewish peer leadership program.
As Gesher “madrichim” (peer leaders), teens lead “talmidim” (learners in grades seven-nine) in such areas as friendship, the impact of social media, peer pressure, healthy dating relationships, and addressing anti-Semitism on campus.
Gesher LeKesher meets two Monday training sessions, 6:30-8:30 p.m., a month and an outreach session on Monday or Wednesday evening or Sunday morning.
