PJ Library celebrates Israel

PJ Library, supported by Jewish Federation in the Heart of NJ, will celebrate Israel’s 71st Independence Day with a “virtual” trip to Israel on Sunday, May 19, 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at The Hebrew Academy, Marlboro.

Activities will include visiting Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, milking a “cow” on the kibbutz, working on an archeological dig in Masada, learning Hebrew, and eating at an Israeli market. The event is free and open to the community; dietary laws will be observed.
