Survivor Speaker Series

Brookdale Community College’s Center for Holocaust, Human Right, and Genocide Education (Chhange), Lincroft, concludes its Fall 2018 Survivor Speaker Series with “Commemoration of the November Pogrom & Veterans Day” at 7 p.m.

The 1938 pogrom initiated widespread violence against Germany’s Jewish community with more than 90 deaths and over 30,000 Jewish men sent to concentration camps. In a Chhange-produced documentary, “I Was There,” three local veterans reflect on their eyewitness experiences entering concentration camps at the end of World War II. Free; register at chhange.org.
