Gerald I. Gross

Gerald I. Gross, 80, of Jackson died May 7, 2011. Born in Brooklyn, he resided in Jackson for the past 43 years.

Mr. Gross was a tax revenue agent for the New Jersey Division of Taxation until he retired 25 years ago. He was also a radio announcer with several local stations for many years.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Leatrice; two daughters, Linda Andriessen and Gale Katz; his sister, Beatrice Podorefsky; and four grandchildren.

Services were held May 9 with arrangements by Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan.
