Irwin Berenson

Irwin Berenson, 88, of West Orange died Sept. 21, 2014. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in South Orange before moving to West Orange in 1998.

Mr. Berenson was a self-employed mortgage broker. 

He served in the U.S. Air Corps during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, May (Blumenthal); three sons, Robert of Hoboken, Drew of South Orange, and Billy of Hoboken; and a sister, Arlene Chapnick of Florida. 

Services were held Sept. 22 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
