Irwin Kaplan

Irwin H. Kaplan, 90, of Monroe Township died April 21, 2020. Mr. Kaplan began his career as a laborer for Robbins Constructions Co. of Union and ended his 45 years with the company as co-owner.

He graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in business administration. He enjoyed gardening, wood carving, building birdhouses, and photography and nature.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joan; two sons, David and Michael; his daughter, Frances Kaplan Davis; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
