JFSCNJ plans December 16 gala

Jewish Family Service of Central New Jersey’s gala dinner is set for December 16 at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston. There will be a buffet dinner at 6 p.m.; the program, dessert, and auction follow at 7:15.

It is JFSCNJ’s main fundraiser; the organization supports mental health, nursing, homecare, Holocaust survivors, and food insecurity programs that serve the Union County community.

Marty Indursky of Encon Mechanical Corp. will receive the Lilly K. Gottlieb award; Nicholas P. Scutari, president of the New Jersey State Senate, is the community service awardee; Eleanor Peris will get the Ruth Bilenker award for outstanding service; and Laura Weitzman will receive the Miriam S.
