Joel M. Fried

Joel M. Fried, 69, of Parsippany died July 29, 2011. Born in Jersey City, he grew up in Fair Lawn.

Mr. Fried worked as a CPA for Fried, Pozzi and Co. in East Rutherford for more than 30 years. He was a member of the NJ Society of CPAs.

He was a member of Pine Brook Jewish Center.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Rosenblatt); three sons, Michael of Montville, Robert of Sharon, Mass., and Steven of West Bloomfield, Mich.; two brothers, Barry of Fair Lawn and Alan of Longmont, Colo.; and five grandchildren.

Services were held Aug. 1 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
