Judith Simet

Judith (Goldberg) Simet, 92, of Fords died May 11, 2020. She grew up in the Bronx and spent most of her life in Fords.

Mrs. Simet was a kindergarten teacher in Woodbridge Township for 23 years.

She graduated from Hunter College and earned her master’s degree from Seton Hall University.

She was a lifelong member of Adath Israel of Woodbridge and Neve Shalom of Metuchen.

Predeceased by her husband, Leon, she is survived by two sons, Ira (Nancy) and Art (Diane); her daughter, Debbie (Seth Saltzman); and five grandchildren.

A private burial was held May 15 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to Neve Shalom, Kiddush Fund (neveshalom.net/form/give) or The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (ww5.komen.org).
