Lester Abrevaya

Lester Carl Abrevaya, 69, of Florham Park died Nov. 9, 2017. Born and raised in the Bronx, he moved to Florham Park 26 years ago. 

Dr. Abrevaya, a dentist, was in private practice in Caldwell for over 20 years and was a member of the Newark Dental Club. 

He received his bachelor’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and his D.D.S from Howard University School of Dentistry in Washington, D.C. 

He was a longstanding member of Congregation Beth Torah. 

He is survived by his wife, Lynn; his daughter, Jessica; a sister, Gail; and a brother, Gregg. 

Services were held Nov. 12 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to John Theurer Cancer Center Neurosurgical Department in Hackensack or Grace Healthcare Services in Edison.
