Lilian Samuels

Lilian Samuels (Cohen), 94, of Monroe Township died Sept. 17, 2018. Born in Cape Town, South Africa, she came to Monroe in 1985.

Mrs. Samuels was a bookkeeper for many years.

She was a member of Highland Park Conservative Temple-Congregation Anshe Emeth.

Predeceased by her husband, Sydney, in 2017, she is survived by two daughters, Reverly (Allan) Chasan and Janice (Leonard) Barber; two sons, Clive (Theresa) and Allan (Laurie); eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Sept. 20 with arrangements by Gowen Funeral Home, New Brunswick.
