JCC MetroWest hosted a celebration of the Littman Family Memory Center for its newest program for people with memory impairment. The center joins the very successful Jonathan and Nancy Littman Memory Center. The new program was made possible by the Littman Family in memory of Harold Littman z”l, the Healthcare Foundation of New Jersey, the Sephardic Foundation on Aging, the Jewish Community Foundation of the Federation of Greater MetroWest, and Stanley Shapiro and family in memory of Elaine Shapiro.

Representing the Healthcare Foundation of New Jersey, from left: HFNJ trustee Michael Goldberg, HFNJ grants evaluation co-chair Sue Wasserman, HFNJ senior program officer Marcy Felsenfeld, HFNJ grants evaluation co-chair, Marion Medow, HFNJ CEO and executive director Michael Schmidt, HFNJ grants and community outreach manager Kevin McManemin, HFNJ board chair Amy Schechner, and HFNJ immediate past board chair Beth Levithan.

With these and other donors, JCC MetroWest has opened an additional Littman Memory Program to serve people with a broader range of memory impairment. Both programs take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. For information or to schedule an introductory meeting, email Sharon Gordon at sgordon@jccmetrowest.org, or call (973) 530-3480.
