Matt Friedman

Matt Friedman, 47, of Springfield died Nov. 10, 2018.

Mr. Friedman had worked at Marvel and Scholastic.

He graduated from Livingston High School, where he was co-captain of the swim team, and Rutgers University, where he majored in English and statistics.

He had an extensive comic book collection.

He is survived by his wife, Laura; his children, Lilly and Aaron; his parents, Norm and Gloria Friedman; a sister, Laurie Harelick; and his wife’s parents, Kass (Bill) Freeman and David (Pat) Morin.

Services were held Nov. 12 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
