Over 300 people attended Temple B’nai Or’s recent Mimouna Celebration and Open House. The joyful cultural event, a Moroccan Jewish tradition, marks the end of Passover. The celebration united members, guests, and community leaders for a day filled with music, food, and connection.

Local civic leaders there included Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty, Nathan Umbriac, councilman-at-large; and Siva Jonnada, Morris Township deputy mayor.

“This year’s mimouna was not only a celebration, but a meaningful opportunity to connect with new faces and strengthen relationships within and beyond our community,” said Michele Spinak, the shul’s director of membership engagement and communications.
