Samuel Brand

Samuel Brand, 93, of Livingston died Nov. 16, 2017. Born and raised in Paterson and Woodbine, he also had lived in Queens and Fair Lawn. 

Mr. Brand was a quality control coordinator in the garment industry. 

He graduated from East Side High School. 

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. 

He was a longtime member of the Jewish Center of Kew Gardens Hills. 

Predeceased by his wife, Shirley (Levinsky), and his son, Norman, he is survived by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Burton Schneck, and three nephews, Stewart (Jill), Michael (Michele), and Eric Schneck. 

Services were held Nov. 19 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
