Sanford Chase

Sanford T. Chase of Rockaway died Sept. 10, 2018. He was born in Hackensack.

Mr. Chase’s first job was with Chock Full O’ Nuts Coffee; he then spent 30-plus years at the U.S. Postal Service.

He attended Hackensack High School, where he was a member of the state champion football team in 1954. He attended Montclair State University.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Cindy; two sons, David and Jeff Chase; his daughter, Sara Pindus Chase; a brother, Arnie; and six grandchildren.
