Stanley Lewis

Stanley M. Lewis, 93, of Absecon died June 16, 2020. Mr. Lewis owned and operated the Lewis Realty Company in Dunellen before becoming a lawyer in 1970. He practiced law in the Plainfield area into his 70s.

A lifelong lover of the arts, he and his wife, Thyra Flora, traveled extensively to attend concerts and to sample cultures and cuisines from around the world. He served two terms as president of B’nai B’rith and was a longtime member and legal adviser to the New Jersey Jazz Society.

Predeceased by his wife of 65 years, he is survived by his children, Harry, Suzanne, and Richard; and four grandchildren.
