Film screening

Highland Park Conservative Temple-Congregation Anshe Emeth will conclude its 18th annual Jewish film series at 8 p.m. with a screening of a dark comedy, “The Humorist.”
The screening, in Russian with English subtitles, will be followed with remarks via Skype by Paul Goldberg, whose novel about Stalin’s death, “The Yid,” was named a finalist for both the Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish Literature and the National Jewish Book Award’s Goldberg Prize for Debut Fiction.
The film screening and talk are open to the public at no charge (an $8 donation is suggested).
