Sermon-in-Song Featuring Music of Leonard Bernstein

Special Shabbat Service & Sermon-in-Song: Friday, November 9th at 8:00 PM. Join us at Temple B’nai Shalom at 15 Fern Road in East Brunswick for a special evening as we honor our accompanist and choir director, Kevin O’Malia, for 10 years of service to our Temple. The Sermon-in-song will feature Cantor Andrew Edison and Kevin directing the Senior Choir singing the music of legendary American composer, conductor and educator Leonard Bernstein, in celebration of his 100th Birthday year. Selections from Bernstein’s West Side Story, his Mass, the Chichester Psalms, and his operetta Candide will be performed.
