A miracle
In your article last week (“NJ philanthropist helps save life of Odessa teen") the liver transplant that saved 16 year old Nastya Zinovovya was deemed “a miracle.” If it is, then Schneider Children’s Medical Center of Israel – Israel’s only comprehensive pediatric hospital and one of the world’s pre-eminent pediatric transplant centers — is often the site of miracles.
One of the philosophies at the hospital is that the only way to be excellent at such critical moments is to be excellent every day. By recognizing and supporting that excellence, the miracle of life for young Nastya and dozens of other children who undergo organ transplants is made possible each year at Schneider Children’s. Schneider Children’s, the only tertiary care pediatric hospital in Israel is ready for various such exigencies locally, nationally, regionally and internationally.
Ed and Leah Frankel were early supporters of Schneider Children’s. It was gratifying to team up with them again in saving the life of a child.
Sincerely,
