Ad nauseum
It is to the credit to NJJN to have featured Laura Fein’s piece (A year of anti-Semitism and appeasement, Jan. 1).
The attempts by the Obama administration to influence the electoral process in Israel is contemptible. While one surely understands that nations have interests, this should not preclude the requirement
for the observance of ethics.
On Sept. 14, 2012, The Jerusalem Post published a column by Israel Kasnett, “Learning the lessons,” which noted that “Eleven years after the 9/11 tragedy, the West still doesn’t understand the dangers of radical Islam.” What should one say for today? Did ISIS suddenly appear mysteriously?
How should an observer assess Kerry’s persistence in pursuing a peace process that has been repeated ad nauseam only to result in an intifada or more terrorism? What more is there to discuss?
