Adler Aphasia Center offers caregiver support group

The Adler Aphasia Center will hold monthly caregiver support groups for those whose loved ones are affected by aphasia. Aphasia is a language disorder caused by a stroke or brain injury. The group will meet at the Adler Aphasia Center, located in the JCC MetroWest, on the second and fourth Monday of every month from 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.

The first meeting will take place Monday, Jan. 14, and the group will be facilitated by the center’s professional life coach, who will focus on mutual support and encouragement while building strategies to cope with the challenges of living with aphasia.

The support group is free and open to the community. For more information and to register, call the center at
973-530-3981.
