Allan Goldblatt, 90, of Boca Raton, Fla., died Sept. 14, 2012. He was born in Newark and had lived in Union and Westfield before retiring to Boynton Beach, Fla., and then Boca Raton.
Mr. Goldblatt enjoyed a career spanning some 40 years as a buyer and manager at John Franks Men’s Store in Westfield.
He graduated from Newark’s Weequahic High School.
During World War II he served in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific.
He was a longtime member of Temple Emanu-El in Westfield.
Predeceased by his wife, Yvette (Romanofsky), in 2008, he is survived by two sons, Stuart and Arthur; a sister, Janet Wilen; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service was to be held this month.
