Allison Nagelberg joined the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest as its director of global connections on May 19. A native of the greater MetroWest community, Ms. Nagelberg has spent the last 20 years as a corporate attorney; most recently she was general counsel for Monmouth Real Estate Investment Corporation in Holmdel. She also has undertaken senior volunteer leadership roles at many Jewish- and Israel-focused organizations, including AIPAC, JNF, Solomon Schechter/Golda Och Academy, Camp Ramah, Hillel, Chabad, and Congregation B’nai Tikvah in North Brunswick. Governor Murphy recently appointed her to the New Jersey-Israel Commission.
According to Dov Ben-Shimon, the executive vice president and CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest, “We are confident that the position in global connections will allow Allison to blend her corporate and non-profit skills in partner engagement, leadership training, communications, finance, and fundraising. We are looking forward to the many contributions Allison will make to the federation team, and particularly to global connections.”
Ms. Nagelberg lives in East Brunswick with her husband, David. Their children are Cory, who is engaged to Dana Ehrentreu; Jesse, and Hayley. Cory was a participant in the Diller Teen Fellowship, Jesse is in rabbinical school at the Jewish Theological Seminary, and Hayley is an officer in the IDF.
