Amy Grossman
Amy Grossman, 36, of East Windsor died March 16, 2017. She grew up in West Windsor.
Ms. Grossman’s career varied from working at art galleries in Chicago to teaching art history in middle school and high school. More recently she worked in graphic design and marketing. Throughout her life, she continued to create numerous oil paintings as well as design jewelry.
An artist from an early age, she staged her works while a student at the Petty School. She went on to study art history, earning a BA from the University of Chicago with a major in Italian Renaissance. She completed an MA from the University of Illinois in Chicago. While living in Italy for a summer, she became fluent in Italian.
She is survived by her parents, Leonard and Evelyn; a brother, Eric; her grandmother, Elisabeth Joseph; and three nieces and nephews.
Services were held March 19 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to University of Chicago, National Endowment for the Arts, or Acoustic Neuroma Association.
