Ana Honigfeld
Ana Lee Honigfeld (Norinsky), 87, of Rockaway and Hypoluxo, Fla., died Oct. 11, 2014. She was born in Newark.
Mrs. Honigfeld taught elementary school for 35 years, mostly in Parsippany-Troy Hills, where she served as vice president of the district NJEA chapter.
She was a 1945 graduate of South Side High School in Newark and earned a master’s degree at Teachers College, Columbia University.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Theodore A.; two sons, Steven (Lisa) of West Hartford, Conn., and Elliot (Kate) of Merchantville; her daughter, Ruth Honigfeld (Neil Reisner) of Hollywood, Fla.; a sister, Doris Abell of St. Augustine, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
Services were held Oct. 14 with arrangements by Levitt Weinstein Memorial Chapel, Hollywood.
