Anita Schrier
Anita Rechtschaffer Schrier, 85, of Monroe Township died July 11, 2016. Born in New York City, she grew up in Highland Park and also lived in Somerset before moving to Monroe over 20 years ago.
Mrs. Schrier, a graduate of Highland Park High School, worked for Middlesex County Courts for 25 years.
She was a member of Highland Park Conservative Temple-Congregation Anshe Emeth for 50 years.
Predeceased by her husband, Harry, in 2013, and a daughter, Edythe, in 1983, she is survived by two daughters, Marlene (Bert) Stein of Marlboro and Sally (Steven) Rosen of Hillsborough; her son, Lawrence (Robin) of East Brunswick; and six grandchildren.
Services were held July 13 with arrangements by Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, New Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Edythe Schrier Scholarship Fund, c/o Highland Park Conservative Temple-Congregation Anshe Emeth.
