Anna Greenwood
Anna Greenwood, 99, of Ewing died May 27, 2018. Born in Hungary, she was a survivor of the Auschwitz concentration camp. She immigrated to the United States in 1949, residing in Philadelphia.
Mrs. Greenwood was athletic into her 80s. She also enjoyed ping pong, and had a lifelong fascination with the study of medicine.
Predeceased by her husband, Eugene, she is survived by four daughters, Barbara Berg, Marian Shafman, Judy Greenwood, and Linda Greenwood; a sister, Martha Friedman; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held May 28 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Greater Mercer County, Greenwood House, or Young Israel of Lawrenceville.
