Annette Pavon
Annette S. Pavon (Naar), 93, of Piscataway died Oct. 2, 2014. Born in New Brunswick, she had resided in New Brunswick and Highland Park before moving to Piscataway several years ago.
Mrs. Pavon was the owner of Cosmopolitan Cleaners and Tailors, New Brunswick, before becoming a loan officer for Peoples National Bank, New Brunswick. After leaving the bank she was the co-owner with her late sister Claire Glatt of Corbin’s Gift and Card Shop, Highland Park.
She was a lifelong member of Congregation Etz Ahaim, Highland Park, and a member of Amity Link, Order of the Golden Chain, and Hadassah. She was a life member of the Central New Jersey Jewish Home for the Aged, now the Regency Jewish Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Somerset.
Predeceased by her husband, Samuel, in 2003, she is survived by two sons, Ira (Diane) and Alan (Shelly); her daughter, Elinor (Dennis) Oziel; a brother, Leon Naar; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
