Arthur Hozore
Arthur S. Hozore, 96, of Highland Park died April 6, 2014. Born in New York, he was raised in the New Brunswick/Highland Park area.
Mr. Hozore was vice president of Trans-Title Agency, a family-owned business in New Brunswick, since 1980.
He graduated from New Brunswick High School and University of Missouri.
He was a past president of the Highland Park Board of Education and the Rutgers University Inter-Fraternity Council.
From 1944 to 1946 he served with the Army Air Corps as a navigator. He flew with the 14th Air Corps “Flying Tigers” in China. He was a recipient of the Distinguished Service Cross and the Bronze Star.
Predeceased by his wife of 75 years, Becca Cile Hozore, he is survived by two daughters, Carol (Melvin) List of Montclair and Cecile (Neil) Savad of Kiawah Island, SC; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were held April 8 with arrangements by Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, New Brunswick.
