Author to commemorate International Holocaust Remembrance Day on Zoom
Lisa Barr, award-winning author of the New York Times best-seller “Woman on Fire,” offers a discussion of the book, on Zoom, on Monday, January 23, at 7:30 p.m., to commemorate International Holocaust Remembrance Day. It’s sponsored by Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest’s Holocaust Council.
Ms. Barr also was an editor at the Jerusalem Post, managing editor of Today’s Chicago Woman, managing editor of Moment magazine, and an editor and reporter for the Chicago Sun-Times. Among the highlights of her career, she covered the famous handshake between the late Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and the late PLO leader Yasser Arafat, in front of President Bill Clinton at the White House.
