Ava Marks
Ava Marks (Miller), 58, of Randolph died Jan. 2, 2012. Born in Newark, she lived in Livingston and New York City before moving to Randolph in 1992.
Mrs. Marks, a 1971 graduate of Livingston High School, received her bachelor’s degree from Fashion Institute in 1975 and her master’s degree in occupational therapy in 1986 from New York University. She was an occupational therapist for the South Orange-Maplewood school district before retiring to raise her family. She was a member of Adath Shalom Synagogue, Morris Plains.
She is survived by her husband, Gary; a son, Sam, and a daughter, Rebecca, both of Randolph; her brother, Alan Miller, of Bethesda, Md., and her mother-in-law, Billie Marks of Springfield.
Services were held Jan. 4, with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
