Benjamin Zukoff
Benjamin Robert Zukoff, 20, of Summit died Jan. 28, 2013.
Mr. Zukoff graduated from Summit High School and attended Rochester Institute of Technology.
He was a talented woodworker, furniture designer, glass blower, and ceramics artist. He also loved all aspects of technical theater, having served as Summit High School student technical director from 2007 to 2010 and as a member of the RIT Tech Crew since 2010.
He was passionate about Judaism and Israel, and his communities of Summit, Bucks Rock Creative Arts Camp, Diller Teen Fellows, March of the Living, and RIT. He was a lifelong member of the Summit Jewish Community Center.
He is survived by his parents, Mimi and Paul Zukoff, his brother, Sam Zukoff; his grandparents, Ella and Martin Zukoff and Irene Preiser; his uncles, Ed Zukoff and David Preiser; his aunt, Jane Preiser; three cousins, Jessica, Lexi, and Greg Preiser; and his girlfriend, Halli James.
Services were held Jan. 30 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
