Bernard Brodsky
Bernard Brodsky, 88, of Morris Plains died Oct. 20, 2010. Born and raised in Newark, he also had lived in West Orange and later Short Hills.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Brodsky had been an area manager for RCA in East Orange for many years. Earlier, he had been past president of the Weltab Company in Santa Fe, NM.
He received his degree in engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken.
A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was involved in the Battle of the Bulge.
He was a member of the Jewish War Veterans of Morristown and the Montclair Masonic Lodge and was a past vice president of Temple Emanu-El of West Essex, Livingston.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly (Cooper); a son, Harris; a daughter, Mary Ellen Goldberg; and two granddaughters.
Services were held Oct. 24 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
