Bernard Feldman
Dr. Bernard Feldman, 89, of Livingston died Dec. 16, 2010. Born in Newark, he resided in Livingston for the last 48 years.
Before retiring in 1995, Dr. Feldman had his own dental practice in Irvington and West Orange for 60 years.
He graduated from West Side High School at the age of 15, did his undergraduate studies at New York University, and was also a student at NYU Dental School.
He was a life member of the Dental Association and a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He served as chief of dental prosthetics and as a 33-year staff member at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
He was a member of the Maplewood Country Club.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rose (Landwirth); his daughter, Barbara Feldman of Long Island, NY; two sons, Elliot of Belleville and Paul of Short Hills; and two grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 19 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to the Metropolitan Orchestra of NJ, Short Hills.
