Bernard Reis
Bernard Reis, 80, of Succasunna died Nov. 20, 2012. Born in Munich, Germany, he came to the United States when he was five, lived for many years in Maplewood, and moved to Succasunna 20 years ago.
Mr. Reis was a retired CPA who had accounting offices in South Orange for many years.
He was a graduate of St. Peter’s College in Jersey City.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, stationed in Japan.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Myra (Mallow); two sons, Dr. David (Linda) of Woodbridge, Conn., and Brian (Maureen) of Morristown; his daughter, Diane Nack (Matthew) of Succasunna; and nine grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 21 with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Dover. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Shalom, Succasunna.
