Bertram Frohman
Bertram H. Frohman, 84, of Yardley, Pa., died Aug. 10, 2012. He was born and raised in Trenton.
Dr. Frohman established himself as a family practice physician in Trenton and later in Hamilton, serving the community for over 50 years.
Educated in the Trenton school system, he graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa.
Prior to entering medical school, he studied in Amsterdam and at New York University. He received his doctor of medicine degree from Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, and did his internship and residency at St. Francis Hospital in Trenton.
He served in the Korean War.
He was a lifetime member of the Masons, Jefferson Medical School Alumni, Mercer County American Medical Association, and St. Francis Medical Association.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellin Mealey Allen Frohman; his stepchildren, Patricia Allen Hillen of West Chester, Pa., Bill Allen of Newport Beach, Calif., Maureen Allen of Medford; Mark C. Allen of Rockwall, Texas, and Kathleen A. Allen of Golden, Colo.; eight step-grandchildren; and a step-great- granddaughter.
Services were held Aug. 12 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors or Greenwood House, Ewing.
