Rabbi Ronald Roth, rabbi emeritus at Congregation B’nai Sholom/Fair Lawn Jewish Center, and Carolina Bermudez, a reference librarian at Fair Lawn’s Maurice M. Pine Free Public Library, join to lead a discussion about a book, “We Need to Talk About Antisemitism,” by Rabbi Diana Fersko. The discussion is on Zoom on Wednesday, September 18, at 7:30 p.m.

CommunityRabbi Fersko, the senior rabbi at the Village Temple in Manhattan and a former Women’s Rabbinic Network national vice president, is used to having difficult conversations with her congregants about the issues they face, she said. In her book, she offers a guide to modern antisemitism in its many forms.

Natan Sharansky, the human rights activist, Soviet dissident, and political leader has said, “Rabbi Diana Fersko’s book is written with passion, insight, and a deep commitment to the Jewish people.”

Copies of the book are available at the library in Fair Lawn. Pre-registration is required, and space is limited. To register, call (201) 796-3400.
