BOOKBINDER-CLARKE

Nancy and Mitchell Bookbinder of Springfield announce the engagement of their daughter, Pamela Morgan, to Ernest Richard Clarke, son of Cynthia and Benjamin Clarke of Wayne.

Ms. Bookbinder, a graduate of Jonathan Dayton High School in Springfield, earned her BA in political science from Washington University, St. Louis, Miss., and her MST in secondary social studies from Pace University, New York. She is director of recruitment at Achievement First in Brooklyn.

Mr. Clarke graduated from Wayne Valley High School and earned his BA in hospitality administration from Boston University. He is a recruiter at McMaster Carr in Robbinsville. The couple both previously taught for Teach for America.

A March 2012 wedding is planned.
