Carolyn Kampf, 64, of Scotch Plains died Oct. 31, 2012. She was born in Newark and grew up in Union.
Miss Kampf, a graduate of Montclair State College, worked in the restaurant industry. Most recently, she was the office manager of Tarantella’s Restaurant in Clark.
She was an avid Yankees fan and an accomplished decoupage artist.
Predeceased by her parents, Blanche and Jerome Kampf, she is survived by three sisters, Michele Bassoff of Edison, Laurie Savitt of Las Cruces, NM, and Melinda Pruitt; two nieces, Jenny Savitt and Beth Abisror; a nephew, Daniel Savitt; and two great-nephews.
Services were held Nov. 5 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels of Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
