Cecile Fishman
Cecile (Mandelstein) Fishman of Springfield died July 16, 2012. She was born and raised in Newark and also resided for many years in Maplewood.
Mrs. Fishman was employed at Bamberger’s as an executive trainer.
She graduated from Newark State Teachers College (now Kean University) with a major in special education.
She was an active member of Congregation Beth El, South Orange, and the Children’s Institute. Predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Louis, in 2011, she is survived by two sons, Evan of Cherry Hill and Rabbi Lyle of Chevy Chase, Md.; and three grandchildren.
Services were held July 17 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
