Celebrate Shavuot in West Orange
Chabad of West Orange kicks off Shavuot on Sunday night, June 1, with all-night learning in partnership with Congregation Ohr Torah. This year it’s at the shul, 270 Pleasant Valley Way. The program starts with candle lighting at 8:05 p.m. On Monday, June 2, at Chabad, the reading of the Ten Commandments is at 11a.m., followed by a dairy luncheon sponsored by Super Duper Bagels and Jerusalem Catering, and an ice cream party.
On June 3, services are at 10 a.m., with Yizkor at 11:15. In the afternoon, children and families are invited to Redwood Park at 3:30 p.m., for activities, games, refreshments, prizes, ices, and an amazing race. For the full schedule, go to chabadwestorange.com.
