Celebrating Israel at 75

Children from the Israeli dance groups Shemesh and Kochavim, which meet at Congregation Agudath Israel in West Caldwell, joined with friends for an Israel at 75 party at the Livingston Community and Senior Center.
The program on April 26, Yom Ha’atzmaut, was sponsored by the Livingston Committee for Diversity and Inclusion. Yael Bahat and Shalev Cohen, rishonim in the MetroWest area, spoke to the crowd. Rishonim are Israelis who spend their gap year between high school and Israeli Army service working to educate children, teens, and adults about Israel.
