Celebrating Rabbi Kanelsky’s birthday

The Lubavitcher Rebbe advised people to celebrate their birthday with friends and joy and to make new resolutions in Torah and mitzvot. Following that, Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky of Bris Avrohom celebrated his birthday last month with family, friends, community members, and supporters of the Russian Jewish community. Many of the attendees shared their history and the positive impacts that Bris Avrohom and the Kanelskys have had on their lives.

A sefer Torah is being written to unite all those who have benefitted from Bris Avrohom’s activities, as well as sponsors who have made it all possible.

Rabbi Kanelsky asked participants at the celebration to purchase letters in that Torah for themselves, their families, and their friends.
